Dress for the class is casual civilian wear. Slacks, shirts, jeans, blouses, sweatshirts are appropriate. Uniforms, coats and ties, etc. are not necessary. 

The course fee is payable by purchase order (SF 182 or DD Form 1556), cash, check, VISA MasterCard, and AMEX including corporate and government IMPAC/GPC and travel cards.  The fee does not have to be pre-paid.  Payments will be accepted at the class or invoiced afterward. Complimentary services will include breaks.

Lodging is available at the Holiday Inn Charleston Historic Downtown and is proud to be a part of Historic Charleston blending contemporary luxury with traditional southern hospitality. Situated on Meeting and Woolfe Street; the hotel is just one block from the Charleston Visitor's Center, minutes from attractions, boutique shops and restaurants located throughout downtown Charleston. The location is within close proximity to other Charleston's historic sites, attractions, museums, sport venues, beaches and more; providing easy access to I-26 and US Highway 17.

Holiday Inn Charleston offers rooms at our Group Rate which is equal to the federal per diem rate of $178.00.
Lodging rate includes one (1) complementary breakfast buffet per room, additional breakfast buffet meals can be added at $12.00 per person, kids eat free.

Parking is Valet only and has been reduced to $10.00 a day, (normally 18.00).


Registration for this class can be completed up to the starting date of the class; the cutoff date shown applies only to our hotel room block, although rooms may remain available after that date). If you attempt to make a reservation, but are told no rooms remain, please contact

The Meeting Room Restaurant & Tapas Bar offers farm-to-table dining with a twist on tradition with American inspired entrees prepared with local ingredients offering something to suit every palette.

TRANSPORTATION to and from the Airport is about $25.00 each way by Taxi. There is a commuter bus service the NASH Express.  It departs the airport on the top of each hour (sharp) and heads to the Charleston Visitor Center (0.2 miles from hotel) for $3 per trip.  It departs the Visitorís Center every half hour (sharp) and returns to the airport.  Here is the link: http://www.northcharleston.org/Visitors/Getting-Around/NASH.aspx

 

The Holiday Inn features on-site dining at, The Meeting Room Restaurant and Tapas Bar which serves breakfast and dinner daily, (does not serve lunch). Enjoy a farm to table dining experience in our restaurant or have it delivered right to your room.

FREE City Trolley that has a stop right across the street from the hotel. Don't go home without a group picture in front of Rainbow Row, The Battery or the famous Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park. The front Desk can give you the information.

 Participants should arrange their air travel to Charleston International Airport (CHS) to arrive on or before July 22. The airport is located 20 miles North of the Holiday Inn and has a full range of on-airport and off-airport rental car agencies.
