Dress for the class is casual civilian wear. Slacks, shirts, jeans, blouses, sweatshirts are appropriate. Uniforms, coats and ties, etc. are not necessary. 

The course fee is payable by purchase order (SF 182 or DD Form 1556), cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, and AMEX including corporate and government IMPAC/GPC and travel cards.  The fee does not have to be pre-paid.  Payments will be accepted at the class or invoiced afterward. Complimentary services will include breaks, a reception/mixer, and a luncheon.

Lodging is available at the Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center at $160 per day or the 2009 federal per diem rate to be announced in August 2008 (currently $201). Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 1-703-960-3400 X1115 and indicating that you are making a reservation under group name "JMAR Management & Training, April  20-24." Reservations should be made by March 20 which is the date our block of rooms will be released. You can still register for the class up until its start date, but after March 20 rooms may no longer be available at the course rate. Should that happen, go to the hotel website (click on the 'Hotel info' link above) and try to make a reservation at the Government rate.   If you make a hotel reservation at the Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center and must cancel it, cancellation must be done by 6 p.m. of your arrival date.  Otherwise, your credit card will be charged for one night's lodging.

A complimentary ice breaker will be held April 20 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center for all class participants. Dress is very casual. There will also be a complimentary luncheon for all participants on April 23.

Participants flying in for the class should arrange their travel to Reagan National Airport (DCA) (6 miles) to arrive on or before April 19.  Alternative airports are Dulles International Airport (IAD) (32 miles) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) (39 miles).  The airport features a full range of rental car agencies.  The Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center does provide complimentary shuttle bus service to and from National Airport on an on-call basis.  The hotel also provides complimentary parking for those participants with a vehicle.

The Holiday Inn Eisenhower Metro Center is located immediately adjacent to I-95/495 (Exit 176) 2 miles west of the Potomac River and Wilson Bridge.  The Eisenhower Metro Station (Yellow Line) is located next to (east) of the hotel.
