Discounts effective April 2008

In appreciation for their service to the nation, JMAR Management & Training is offering the following discounts for military members and civilian employees of the United States government including state National Guard organizations.

Early registration discount
For the Combined Phase I & II (TIPS007) courses, individuals registering during the early registration period (usually up to 30 days prior to the class start date) will receive $100 off the listed course fee.  This discount applies only to the Combined Phase I & II course.  No other restrictions apply. 

"Second-person-half-off" discount
Register two individuals at the same time for the same class and the second person’s course fee will be 1/2 of the regular fee.  For the Combined Phase I & II course, the early registration discount will also be honored.  Conditions:  (1) both individuals must register at the same time and indicate the person with whom they are attending; (2) if more than two persons register at the same time, the first person will be charged the regular course fee, the second person will receive the 1/2-off discount, and others will receive the $100 multiple-participant discount shown below; (3) if one person cancels from the class, the fee for the person receiving the discount will revert to the regular course fee (if registration was done during the early registration discount period, the early registration discount will apply); (4) substitutions can be made for either individual; (5) this discount does not apply to individuals attending different courses or classes; (6) if seats for this discount are no longer available or if a second individual from the same agency registers later for the same class this discount does not apply, however, that person will qualify for the '$100 multiple participant’ discount shown below as long as seats for that discount are available;  (7) does not apply to The Protocol Forum; (8) limited to four [4] seats per class. Seat availability is shown on the course schedule page.

"$100 Multiple-participant"  discount
Two or more individuals registering for the same class who do not qualify for the ‘Second-person-half-off’ discount shown above will receive $100 off the regular course fee for the second or subsequent individuals (first person pays the regular fee; all others each receive $100 off).  For the Combined Phase I & II course, the early registration discount will be honored.  Conditions:  (1) the second or subsequent individuals may register separately at any time prior to the class; (2) if registering at the same time, but no seats remain for the 'Second-person-half-off' discount, this discount will be substituted providing seating as shown in (7) below is available; (3) if the person being charged the regular course fee cancels from the class resulting in only one person attending, that person’s $100 discount will be voided and they will be charged the regular course fee (if that person registered during the early registration discount period, the early registration discount will apply); (4) substitutions can be made for any individual; (5) this discount does not apply to individuals attending separate classes;  (6) does not apply to The Protocol Forum; (7) limited to no six [6] seats per class.  Seat availability is shown on the class schedule page.

"Previous participant"  discount
(available to any person who has previously attended a JMAR Management & Training course regardless of their employment affiliation) Persons attending their second or subsequent JMAR Management & Training course will receive a $25 discount for each previous course attended (includes previous attendance at The Protocol Forum and duplicated courses). Conditions:  (1) this discount is cumulative for the number of courses attended and will apply for each subsequent course attended; (2) this discount does not apply to the fee for The Protocol Forum, however, the Protocol Forum will count as a previous course; (3) seating is not limited for this discount

The above discounts can not be combined except for the early registration discount for the Combined Phase I & II course.  For individuals registering during the early registration period, the above discounts will be applied to the early registration fee.  If a person has attended a previous course and is also part of a group, either the group discount or the discount for previous attendance can be used. We will apply the discount in whichever way that is most advantageous to the group.

The above discounts do not apply to The Protocol Forum (TIPS010).

How we identify and apply discounts  
When an individual registers for a course, we do two things:  check to see if they have previously attended a course, and check to see if others from the same agency are attending the same class.  If either condition applies, the appropriate discount is recorded.  Additionally, in the week preceding the class, we do this again to ensure we have identified everyone eligible for a discount.  Ultimately, however, it is the responsibility of each participant who believes he or she is eligible for a discount to verify the discount and ensure it is applied.
